During this season of social distancing, we are unable to gather together in-person; however, the church is not stopped by physical location! We’ve created a Home Church Kit for everyone to participate in as both an individual devotional and together virtually in groups. Head to the Home Church Kit page for how you can join us!

We invite you to join us for our 10am service on Sundays. We meet at The Sandler Center in the main performance hall. Childcare and Sunday School Classes will be provided for all ages nursery to 5th grade during the service.  There’s a lot of free parking in Town Center of Virginia Beach and several wonderful eateries nearby to hang out before and after the service.

Our Sunday worship gatherings involve music, Scripture reading, teaching, prayer, and weekly communion. A typical Sunday gathering lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes – from 10am-11:15am. As soon as you walk into the building, you will be greeted and directed to the worship center or to our children’s ministry check-in station.

Parents of children (ages 3 months – 5th grade) will use our secure check-in process to drop their children off in their classes before the service, so plan to arrive around 15 minutes early so that you have plenty of time to make it to the service. **NOTE** Parents with children in grades 3rd-5th will check their children into the system before the service and bring them into the worship portion of our service. After singing with us in the service, they will be dismissed to their classes for an age-appropriate lesson and activity. Once the service is over, you will be able to pick your children up from their classes by showing your child’s unique check-in sticker.

We invite you to explore our site some more, listen to a recent sermon, and contact us if you have any questions or need any information. We’d be glad to help!

How to Prepare for Sunday

Here are some practical ways to prepare for your visit with us:

  • Come relaxed. Get some rest the night before, wake up in time to make breakfast, and arrive early enough to park and walk. If you have children, it helps to arrive about 10-15 minutes early so you have time to check your children into their classes and make it to the service on time.
  • No need to worry about what to wear. Most of our folks are casual to business casual, and we live in Virginia Beach, after all. Jeans and flip-flops are welcome 🙂
  • Enjoy the break you get every weekend, and use Sunday as a day to rest. Our bodies need rest: not just daily rest, but weekly rest from work and exhaustion. Take a Sunday nap, read the Psalm for the week, or spend the afternoon relaxing with your family. Make Sundays a day to look forward to.
