We are a multi-generational non-denominational church located in the heart of Virginia Beach. Anchor Church was planted in 2012, with the desire to plant churches and see individuals, families, and communities changed by the power of the Gospel.

We invite you to join us for our 10am service on Sundays at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Town Center.

Our Sunday worship gatherings involve music, Scripture reading, teaching, prayer, and weekly communion. A typical Sunday gathering lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. Come relaxed! No need to worry about what to wear. You'll experience everything from tee shirts and flip flops to business casual attire. As soon as you walk into the building, you will be welcomed by our friendly team and directed to the Main Hall.

Becoming.

At Anchor, we know everyone is in process. None of us have arrived. There’s urgency, but not hurry, because no one changes quickly. So, we are BECOMING…

Like Jesus.

At Anchor, we are laser-focused on a collective trajectory: the likeness of Jesus. Why? Because to be like Jesus is to be one’s most flourishing self. He was and is history’s ultimate flourishing human. So, we are becoming LIKE JESUS…

Together.

At Anchor, we believe that an alone follower of Jesus is an emergency. So, we’re in this together. It is only in the context of Christian community and gracious accountability that we are molded into the likeness of Christ. So, we are becoming like Jesus TOGETHER.

Anchor Kids & Youth

Anchor Kids is available for children ages 3 months – 5th grade. This ministry seeks to guide children to Christ and inspire them to live God-centered lives. Please arrive around 15 minutes to use our secure check-in process to drop your children off in their classes before the service. Once the service is over, you will be able to pick your children up from their classes by showing your child’s unique check-in sticker.

Anchor Kids

Nursery - Preschool

Nursery care is available to children as young as 3 months old. Our toddler and preschool program provides games, activites, and fun interactions with our staff and volunteers to teach and show the love of Christ.

Kindergarten - 5th

The elementary aged ministry is broken down by grade level and seeks to lead children to know and love God through video and teaching lessons, as well as through activities and crafts.

Anchor Youth

Anchor Youth, the middle school and high school ministry, meets on Sundays throughout each month. Find more information on the Anchor Youth Page.
