Why We Give

We see cheerful giving as an act of worship to God in response to His own generosity toward us. We do not overemphasize money or giving above other ways to worship God, but we do encourage it as a part of our Sunday worship gatherings and as part of our partnership in Gospel ministry.

Other Ways To Give

Give Online

We are partnering with the Subplash and Realm, our in-house communication platform, secure giving platforms for accepting any one time or recurring donations online via credit card, debit card, or ACH.

If you are not a member of Anchor Church you can still give a one-time gift without a Realm account here. If you would like to be added to Realm, you can sign up here.

Text-to-Give

Simply text ‘Anchor’ and the amount you wish to give (e.g. $250) to 73256 (REALM) and you’ll be prompted to register your credit/debit card information.

Give Through the App

Did you know that a significant portion of our giving comes through our App? Download the Anchor Church App, and click on the Giving tab to give.

Mail A Check

You can mail a check or drop one off in our offering boxes on Sunday. Checks can be made to Anchor Church and our mailing address is 865 Woodstock Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

Online Banking

Many of our people have set up an automatic BillPay to Anchor Church from their Bank’s Online Banking platform. If you’d like to set up a payment with your bank to send us a one-time or recurring donation, they can be made to Anchor Church and mailed to 865 Woodstock Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

COVID-19 assistance fund

During this pandemic season, we have several people within our church who are already facing significant financial setbacks, so if you’re looking for a way to give specifically to those needs, we’ve activated a COVID-19 Assistance fund on all of our giving platforms. If you have additional funds beyond your regular offerings that keep our ministry and staff operating, would you consider giving toward the COVID-19 Assistance fund? We are doing what we can to help those within our church who have lost hours or lost their jobs completely as we discover the needs. As we usually do, we encourage community groups to support those within their groups who have a short-term, one-time need as a first response to needs. From there, we will use the funds we receive through the COVID-19 Assistance fund to offer additional assistance. Beyond that, we are redirecting people with long-term needs to local relief organizations and shelters. Thank you for your consideration of our ministry and of the growing number of people within our church family who will have needs.
