We are a multi-generational non-denominational church located in the heart of Virginia Beach.  Anchor Church was planted in 2012 by Kris & Joanne Hassanpour, with the desire to plant churches and see individuals, families, and communities changed by the power of the Gospel.

We invite you to join us for our 10am service on Sundays at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Town Center.

Our Sunday worship gatherings involve music, Scripture reading, teaching, prayer, and weekly communion. A typical Sunday gathering lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. Come relaxed! No need to worry about what to wear. You'll experience everything from tee shirts and flip flops to business casual attire. As soon as you walk into the building, you will be welcomed by our friendly team and directed to the Main Hall.

Nursery and Children's Ministry is available for children ages 3 months – 5th grade. This ministry seeks to guide children to Christ and inspire them to live God-centered lives. Please arrive arrive around 15 minutes to use our secure check-in process to drop your children off in their classes before the service. Once the service is over, you will be able to pick your children up from their classes by showing your child’s unique check-in sticker.

Note: Nursery, Toddler One, Toddler Two, and Kindergarten through 2nd Grade classes are now available in February 2021. We hope to add additional classes and grade levels as the 2021 year continues. All children are welcome to attend and participate in the Sunday service with their families. Please check back for regular updates.
