Anchor Youth
For Students Ages 11–18
Anchor’s deep desire is to see adolescents become passionate followers of Jesus. To that end, it is our joy to partner with and equip parents to make disciples of their kids and mobilize them to become devoted disciples of Jesus by the power of the gospel and the Spirit. Our Anchor Youth leaders and volunteers lead times of interactive, age-directed Bible study, combined with a variety of activities and plenty of time to just hang out.
Youth meets Sundays for various activities and events ranging from Sunday morning worship & devotionals, serving various outreach ministries within Hampton Roads, and weekend activities and retreats.

Movie Night
Middle and high school students, join us for a movie night at the Jones house on Saturday, January 10th, from 6:30 to 9 pm. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks will be provided! Invite a friend and RSVP!

Laser Tag
Middle and high schoolers! Join us for a fun afternoon of laser tag on Sunday, February 1st, from 3:15 to 5 pm (there is no church gathering that morning). We'll play a couple of rounds of laser tag and eat pizza together! Invite a friend and RSVP!

Cost: $10 per person - pay cash at the event

- All middle and high school students will meet after the Sunday worship gathering at Gateway Church for lunch and Large Group from 12 to 1:30 pm. Large group will consist of fun, group games and icebreakers, a time in the Word, and discussion groups.

Small Group
- Middle and high school boys and girls are invited to meet during the Sunday Gathering at 10 am on the Third Floor at the Sandler Center (location subject to change). Small groups are a time for boys and girls to split up, based on gender, to have deeper conversations with one another and leaders. Head up to the 3rd floor at 10 am!
