Anchor Youth
For Students Ages 11–18
Anchor’s deep desire is to see adolescents become passionate followers of Jesus. To that end, it is our joy to partner with and equip parents to make disciples of their kids and mobilize them to become devoted disciples of Jesus by the power of the gospel and the Spirit. Our Anchor Youth leaders and volunteers lead times of interactive, age-directed Bible study, combined with a variety of activities and plenty of time to just hang out.
Youth meets Sundays for various activities and events ranging from Sunday morning worship & devotionals, serving various outreach ministries within Hampton Roads, and weekend activities and retreats.

- All middle and high school students will meet during the Sunday Service at 10 am in the Miller Studio (location subject to change).
- Sunday, July 14th
- Large group will consist of fun, group games and ice breakers, a time in the Word, and discussion groups.
Combined Boys & Girls Small Group
- Middle and high school boys and girls will meet during the Sunday Service at 10 am at Gather for a time to build relationships and dig into the Word together.
- Sunday, July 28th - Location TBD
- Students will meet in the lobby of the Sandler Center by the box office (near the elevators) at 10 am, walk over to Gather together with leaders for their small group, and then walk back to Sandler at the end of service where parents can pick up their kids in the lobby.
Family Picnic
- All Anchor Youth & families are invited to join us for a picnic at Bayville Farms Park on Sunday, September 15th immediately following service (12:30 pm), to welcome the rising 6th graders and their families! RSVP here!
- Lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs and a side will be provided. Invite any rising 6th grader and their family to join!

Manna Serve Day
- Manna Ministry of Tidewater provides food and household essentials to families who are waiting for long-term assistance from other local agencies. The Anchor Youth Group has signed up to help pack and prepare boxes of food for delivery on Friday, August 9th from 9 - 10:30 am. We invite all middle and high school students to join us! RSVP here!
